Who this policy covers
This policy describes information handled through the Sweet Boy's website and related inquiries. Sweet Boy's is located at 310 South Ave., Springfield, Missouri. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to sup@sweetboysbar.com.
What you provide
Our forms collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and the information you enter in your inquiry. Work inquiries also request an Instagram handle or portfolio link. Bar-team submissions include your preferred role, availability, experience, interest in the bar, and any recent role you provide. Content-casting and collaboration submissions include your notes. Event requests include your preferred date, start and end times, guest count, event type, optional space preference, and event details.
Please do not submit payment details, government identification numbers, medical information, or other sensitive information through these forms.
How we use it
We use submissions to review and respond to applications, collaboration proposals, and event inquiries, and to coordinate any resulting conversations. Content-casting submissions are intended to build a list of locals we may contact about future social-content and campaign opportunities. You may ask to be removed from that list.
Submitting a form does not enroll you in a general marketing mailing list, guarantee a job or shoot, or confirm an event reservation.
Who handles your information
Our team and service providers process information as needed to run this website, deliver and store inquiry emails, and prevent spam. Providers include Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Apple iCloud (email storage), and Upstash (spam prevention). These services may also process technical information such as connection data, delivery records, and backups. Inquiry emails may be shared with the Sweet Boy's team members handling your request.
Browser storage and third-party connections
We use local storage to remember your theme preference, and session storage to avoid repeating the same sticker-conversation demo in a browsing session. You can clear these through your browser settings. The reviewed site code does not include advertising pixels or visitor-analytics scripts.
The homepage requests Springfield weather directly from Open-Meteo using fixed Springfield coordinates, not your device location. Like other direct web connections, this can expose your IP address and request metadata to that service. Fonts, GIF previews, and wallpapers are served from our site. Links to GIPHY, social networks, and maps lead to services with their own privacy practices.
Retention and your choices
Inquiry information may remain in our email correspondence and service-provider systems while needed for the inquiry, relevant follow-up, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. Content-casting details may be kept for future opportunities until no longer needed or you ask to leave the list. This website does not currently implement automatic deletion of inquiry emails.
Contact sup@sweetboysbar.com to request access, correction, deletion, or removal from the casting list. We may need to verify your request. Some records may need to be retained for legal reasons, and backups or copies held by others may not be immediately removable. Any applicable statutory privacy rights remain available to you.
Photography and video
We create our own photography and video at Sweet Boy's to share the atmosphere, events, and people who make the bar what it is. Photography and filming may take place during your visit, and guests may appear in images used on our website and social media.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please tell our photographer or a member of our team. To raise a concern about a published image, email sup@sweetboysbar.com with a link or description so we can review it. We cannot control copies or reposts made by others.
Security and changes
We use technical safeguards such as encrypted web connections, server-side validation, and submission rate limits, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send sensitive information through the forms. The site is intended for adults, not children under 13; contact sup@sweetboysbar.com if you believe a child has submitted personal information.
We may update this policy as our practices change. Review the date shown above and contact us with questions.
